Reviews and Ratings
The dining experience at this establishment was mixed for us. On one hand, the location by the river was absolutely gorgeous and provided a lovely atmosphere. However, the service was quite disappointing with long waits and a lack of attention from the staff. The food quality also did not meet our expectations, detracting from an otherwise nice setting. Although we enjoyed some aspects of our visit, the overall experience fell short of our hopes.
The hotel has a lovely setting by the River Exe, perfect for enjoying meals with a great view. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience quite pleasant. However, the accommodations could use some attention, as the room I stayed in felt a bit dated and had some cleanliness issues. The food was decent but not outstanding, and some improvements could really elevate the overall experience.
The Fisherman's Cot has a stunning location by the river, but unfortunately, our dining experience was underwhelming with lackluster food and slow service. While we enjoyed the generous portion sizes, the overall quality did not meet our expectations. The staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. There's potential here, but improvements are definitely needed.
I had a delightful stay at the Fisherman’s Cot, where the picturesque setting along the River Exe truly enhanced my experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortably furnished, but there were a few quirks with the layout that weren't ideal. The dining options were plentiful and well-prepared, making each meal enjoyable. However, there were some minor inconveniences, such as issues at the bar that need addressing. Overall, it's a charming spot I'd happily return to.
The Fisherman's Cot offers a beautiful riverside experience with comfortable rooms and decent dining options. However, the service can be frustratingly slow and the staff seem a bit undertrained. Overall, the hotel has great potential but needs some focus on improving service quality and upkeep.
